Lahore: Dean, Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts & Design (SVAD), Beaconhouse National University, Prof Rashid Rana received the prestigious 2017 Asia Arts Award Hong Kong on March 23, 2017.

Prof Rana is one of the four contemporary Asian artists honoured in an elaborate ceremony held in Hong Kong.

The Asia Arts Awards Hong Kong is a signature gala celebration honouring the Asia Arts Game Changers during the week of Art Basel. Major art collectors, artists, dignitaries from the art world and Asia Society trustees and patrons gather to celebrate contemporary arts in Asia.

For more than 20 years, Asia Society has been a pioneer in identifying and fostering the latest contemporary Asian artists and engaging new audiences for their work.
