Ibrahim Shahid, one of our very own Beaconhouse students from the Boys’ branch at Margalla Campus, has set a new world record in his Cambridge O Level exams. The 17-year-old sat for an amazing total of 24 subjects and scored 23 A’s and a B.
The son of an electrical engineer and a stay-at-home mother who herself is an IT scientist, Ibrahim credits his success to hard work and the belief that the seemingly impossible can be achieved. Not only has he made his parents and school very proud, he has raised the profile of education in Pakistan and given other students in the country the motivation to excel.
As yet undecided about what to study at university, Ibrahim is drawn towards physics and economics and says he wants to do ‘something unique’ for his country.
